Bird-eggs picking
My yearly tour to Skaftafell area for egg picking in the cliffs of Ingolfshofdi cape is now prepared. I have in reacent years taken a handful of customers for this ancient tradition of the local farmers. This has now been dated on Saturday 3rd of May. The tour includes bird watching on the way to Skaftafell area and includes a visit to the glacier lagoon Jokulsarlon. I am hoping to run into birds like Great Skua, Razorbill, Atlantic Puffin, Black Guillemot, Common Guillemot and hopefully the rare Brunnich´s Guillemot. Gannets might be on the flight already by this time.
